Recognizing Excellence: TPIA Access Control Team Shines
By Ramakrishna Malkapuram, Service Delivery Manager, YYZ
The success of any major event depends on the dedication and teamwork of the individuals working behind the scenes. We are pleased to recognize the outstanding efforts of the Access Control Team at Toronto Pearson International Airport (TPIA) for their exceptional support during the Greater Toronto Airport Authority’s (GTAA) Special Event held on July 20 and 21, 2026.
A special thank you goes to Navjot Kaur, Kulveer Kaur, Frank Yonan, and Liljana Salluku, whose professionalism, commitment, and proactive approach played a significant role in the smooth execution of the event. Throughout both days, they consistently demonstrated a high level of service excellence, ensuring that operations ran efficiently and effectively.
What stood out most was their willingness to remain engaged and supportive even during slower setup and tear-down periods. Rather than waiting to be directed, they proactively identified opportunities to assist, contributing wherever help was needed. Their positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative spirit reflected the very best of our ASP service culture.
The client was highly impressed with their performance and personally thanked each team member for their dedication and support. Their efforts not only contributed to the success of the event but also reinforced the strong partnership between ASP and GTAA.
Writing to let you know that your team members assigned yesterday and today were excellent and proactively helpful during our slow set up and tear down moments. I’ve thanked them individually but please also share my positive feedback with Garinder and team.
Simone Holness-Webb, Supervisor, Corporate Programs & Events, GTAA
We would also like to extend our appreciation to our team for fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Thank you all for your exceptional contribution, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding service. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated and deserving of recognition.
