Message from our President and CEO on ASP’s policy of inclusion, diversity and anti-
At A.S.P. we believe in the values of diversity and inclusion. As a people-first organization we stand against racism, discrimination and harassment. We have firm and effective anti-harassment, anti-violence and anti-bully policies and our mandate is to be an equal opportunity employer.
Read our Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention Policy and Program here.
We know that many in the A.S.P. family are feeling grief, anger and anxiety right now. As the Canadian Human Rights Commission has stated, “Now is the time for all Canadians, but especially non-racialized Canadians, to listen, learn and reflect on how white privilege and systematic racism contribute to injustice and inequality in this country. We need to look inwards and challenge our biases, fears, assumptions and privilege. We need to have difficult and uncomfortable conversations.”
Now is the moment for us, too, to take a deeper look inward at A.S.P. We want to listen and hear what’s needed to make our organization a safe place to talk about discrimination and harassment.
We know we don’t have it all figured out.
We invite you to provide feedback in the link below if you can contribute to our understanding of the challenges and discrimination that exists in our business.
We will be establishing a committee aimed at fostering a culture of respect, diversity and inclusion. The committee would be aimed at understanding how to leverage the diversity in our workplace, proposing initiatives and developing goals. To be successful we need to work closely with our employees and listen to how we can change for the better. A.S.P. employees are invited to apply below to participate in the committee’s establishment and mandate.
We stand against racism and all forms of discrimination and are committed to expanding our inclusion and anti-discrimination practices and policies in consultation with the groups impacted.

See Something? Say Something
Even in a diverse and open organization like ours, we know that there are still real challenges. Across our organization we share moments with our coworkers, clients, and the public every day. It’s easy to overlook moments during your day that may seem routine, but that’s how systemic discrimination finds a way into our workplace.
- If you see or hear something that doesn’t seem right, we encourage you to say something by submitting an incident report below, speaking with your Manager or reaching out the HR team at email@example.com.
- If you’ve seen or heard a colleague acting as a diversity and inclusion champion, we’d like to hear about that too.
