ASP Security and it’s Talent Hunt!

O ntario’s security industry—from private firms to public police services—has begun to make meaningful headway toward workforce diversity. Exploring how industry-specific roles (airport, healthcare, critical infrastructure, etc.) need guards with precise skills or certifications (e.g., tactical training, high-security clearance, K9 handling, etc.).

Shailaja Shah – Talent Acquisition Specialist (She/her)
We’re thrilled to welcome Shailaja to the ASP family! With 5 years of experience in the security industry and over 3 years specializing in talent acquisition and HR coordination, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skill. Shailaja has successfully managed the entire recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to onboarding— while also overseeing vital HR coordination tasks.
Her strengths include aligning hiring strategies with business objectives, streamlining recruitment processes, and enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency.
