Recognitions and Updates
By Sarah Miller, Director - Operations and Training, RES/CIC
After months of preparation, ASP was proud to begin event security services for Live Nation at Rogers Stadium on June 29th, protecting the venue’s inaugural concert with South Korean pop band Stray Kids. Event security is the latest addition to our security services at Rogers Stadium, adding onto the existing facility access control and K9 explosive detection teams. Congratulations to all team members on a successful first show – we are greatly looking forward to continued security excellence at many more!

We would like to give a special thank you to Udit Kapoor for his critical support as event manager, leading the ASP frontline team.
Jennifer Thrasher
Please join the RES/CIC division in welcoming Jennifer Thrasher to ASP as of June 09th. Jennifer will be supporting the division as Service Delivery Manager, overseeing a portfolio of RES/CIC accounts such as the Toronto Transit Commission, Rogers Stadium, the City of Vaughan, and Metrolinx. Her extensive security and leadership experience make her an invaluable asset to the team, and we are immensely grateful to have her join us.
City of Vaughan
This summer, ASP successfully extended its contract with the City of Vaughan for two more years. We are very grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the municipality with services at City Hall, the Joint Operations Center, parks, libraries, and special events. Thank you to the dedicated security team in this account for their hard work which was recognized by the clients with a contract extension.
In addition, ASP was selected as the security vendor of choice for the City of Vaughan’s very first Festa d’Italia event on June 01st, overseen by event manager Mohammed Mounir. Commenting on the team’s excellent performance, the client shared that “the ASP staff were amazing”. To all that attended, fantastic work!
2025 Walk With Israel
On May 25th, ASP provided behaviour threat detection and K9 explosive detection services to the 2025 Walk With Israel. This event drew over 56,000 attendees and demonstrated ASP’s unique expertise in these areas, earning commendations and appreciation from both the event clients and walkers. We are looking forward to returning next year for the 2026 Walk With Israel.
