Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Employee of the Month (May-July 2025)

I am pleased to announce that Caleb Ducelien has been selected as the Employee of the Month for May 2025.

Caleb currently serves as a Conflict Resolution Guard (CRG) at BBTCA. Caleb has demonstrated several key qualities of a good leader and a team member through assistance in developing and implementing a stringent training program for new CRGs, improvements to the M-Post system, and overall collaboration with the team to work on improving overall quality of work. Caleb’s dedication to his work has not gone unnoticed and we are thrilled to be able to be a part of his continuous development.

Recently Caleb has become a father, an endeavor no doubt he will excel in. We offer you our support during this wonderful time.

I am pleased to announce that Aldrin Macalalad has been selected as the Employee of the Month for June 2025.

Aldrin currently serves as a Traffic Control Guard at BBTCA. Aldrin is a reliable employee who takes pride in his work, is willing to help others, and brings a positive attitude to work. Traffic Control Guards face several challenges working in all-weather conditions; Aldrin does not allow those challenges to hold him back.

Aldrin’s efforts and positive attitude are noticed and appreciate by the Airport customers and his co-workers.

I am pleased to announce that Kenneth Barker has been selected as the Employee of the Month for July 2025.

In the picture above, Ken stands amid the statues of William Barker and William Bishop (located on the Mainland Pavilion), both decorated WWI flying aces and Victoria Cross recipients, closely associated with Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA).

Ken works as a Mainland Supervisor and has been with Billy Bishop Airport for over 10 years. His dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, whether it’s stepping up when needed, paying close attention to the details that matter, or simply showing up with a strong work ethic every day. What makes Ken stand apart from others is the consideration and support he shows towards his employees, as well as the genuine concern he has for the public traversing through the Airport.

Ken is an outstanding role model for the team, and ASP Security takes pride in recognizingdedicated employees like him.
