Bright Jackets, Strong Spirit
By Nataliya Zulqurnane, Acting Operational Manager, YWG

Working in this role is more than just a job – it’s a personal challenge that tests strength, resilience, and commitment.
This winter arrived early and pushed our airport to its limits. Extreme cold, powerful winds, blizzard conditions, and relentless snowfall became the daily reality. Yet in the face of these harsh conditions, our cart and baggage support team showed exactly what true dedication looks like.
Alex, Ruslan, Yaroslav, Leonel, Khaiat, and Bernard reported to work every single day, undeterred by freezing temperatures and physically demanding conditions. Maneuvering and organizing baggage carts through deep snow and fierce winds requires endurance, determination, and grit, and they delivered all of it without hesitation or complaint.
But their contribution goes beyond physical strength. They brought pride in their work, commitment to the airport, and genuine care for our passengers. Always visible, always dependable, and always ready to help, they transformed one of the toughest winters into a powerful display of resilience and professionalism.
They don’t just wear bright jackets! They carry a strong spirit!
