What a Great Day with the TPIA Team!

What a day! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s BBQ and helped make it such a memorable event.
I was especially happy that this year we were able to spend time together outdoors rather than being inside. It created a much more relaxed atmosphere and gave everyone the opportunity to sit together, connect, share some laughs, and enjoy time as a team.
I’ve already received a lot of feedback from the team, and I’m genuinely happy to hear how much everyone enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and time together. Your feedback means a lot to us and makes all the effort that goes into organizing the BBQ worthwhile.
And for everyone who participated in the raffle—stay tuned! The raffle ticket winners will be announced in our next newsletter, so make sure you keep an eye out!
I would also like to give a huge shout-out to all the Shift Managers and Supervisors who came in on their days off to support the event. Giving up your personal time to help the team is greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed.
A special thank you as well to all the on-duty Supervisors and Shift Managers who worked hard behind the scenes to coordinate everything and ensure the BBQ ran smoothly and successfully. And, of course, a special shout-out to the man I call “the man behind the grill,” Michael Smith, for keeping everyone well-fed and making sure the BBQ was a success!
The success of the event was truly a team effort. It was great to see everyone working together, supporting one another, and creating such a positive atmosphere.
Events like this remind us that behind our daily operations is a team of people who work hard, support each other, and make a real difference every day.
Thank you to each and every one of our employees for everything you do for Toronto Pearson and the passengers we serve. Your hard work, dedication, commitment, and professionalism are truly appreciated. Your contributions play an important role in keeping Pearson safe, secure, and welcoming every day.
