By Prince Khan, Operations Manager, YTZ
ASP Security at BBTCA recently held an employee recognition ceremony to acknowledge outstanding performance, dedication, and long-standing service within the airport operation.
Lathursan Mahendranathan was recognized as Employee of the Month for his professionalism, reliability, and continued contribution to the BBTCA security team. His recognition was presented by Kris Headley, Airport Duty Manager, Toronto Port Authority, reflecting the value placed on strong performance and service within the airport environment.
Shefa Mohamed was presented with the Long-Term Service Recognition Award in recognition of more than 19 years of service and contribution to the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport community. The award was presented by Denise Roy, Airport Security Specialist, Toronto Port Authority, marking a significant milestone in his long-standing service at the airport.
The ceremony also brought together members of the ASP BBTCA team, including site management, shift managers, supervisors, frontline staff, and our Toronto Port Authority partners. The group photo reflects the broader team behind the operation and the shared recognition of Lathursan and Shefa’s contributions to BBTCA. Moments like these are also an opportunity to recognize the commitment of the wider team and the importance of acknowledging both individual performance and long-standing service.
